El-Obeid Gas Depot is one of the main components of the operational infrastructure of the National Petroleum Company (Sudan). The depot is dedicated to the storage and filling of domestic cooking gas and bakery gas, serving El-Obeid City and surrounding areas in accordance with approved operational and safety standards.
The depot is located within the El-Obeid Refinery Area and has been designed and equipped with specialized facilities and filling systems to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and continuity of supply.

El-Obeid Gas Depot includes the following operational facilities:

- Reception area
- Control room

Gas Filling Systems
- Gas filling hall equipped with a fixed filling system supplied by KAYA (Turkey):
- 12.5 kg cylinders
- Production capacity exceeding 240 cylinders per hour
- Fixed gas filling system:
- 25 kg cylinders
- Production capacity of 50 cylinders per hour
- Dedicated platform for loading and unloading gas tankers
